Women’s Disc Golf Championships!

In 2007 the PDGA announced that The Onslow Flying Disc Association would be the host club for the 2010 United States Women's Disc Golf Championships. The event will take place the last weekend in September in Jacksonville, North Carolina at Northeast Creek Park, and in Richlands, North Carolina at Steed Park. We are located about 30 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Crystal Coast in Eastern North Carolina.
One of the leading Disc Golf Promotors in eastern North Carolina over the last 10 years, Scott Knapp PDGA #17820 will be the events Tournament Director. Scott has travelled with his wife, Melissa "Moe" Knapp and caddied for her at 5 different USWDGC's. "I feel like the spirit of Women's Nationals is what drew me to want to be the TD for this event. The camaraderie, and sportsmanship the women have for each other is truly a wonderful thing to watch." Scott says.
